The Business escalator is a joint project by the "Alfa" trade park and the "Dienas Bizness" newspaper, which was initiated in 2013 in order to promote the marketing development of young entrepreneurs. It also provides them with an opportunity to operate on the premises of the Alfa trade park for a month, thereby attracting client attention to their products and promoting sales. The author of the Business Escalator idea is the Jazz Communications team.

During the 2013 and 2014 project, Jazz Communications ensured the attraction and coordination of entrepreneurs and experts.

The main objective of this project is to give young Latvian entrepreneurs a chance to verify the viability of their created product, while operating in a real marketing environment. During the project, the participants meet their clients – the end users of their product, receiving immediate feedback and evaluation.

During this project, young entrepreneurs also received qualitative added value– suggestions from a team of experts, comprised of the management of the "Alfa" trade park, "Dienas Bizness" journalist, Anda Asare, "Mercuri International" Board Member, business consultant Dzintars Koknēvičs, and the founder of the "BrandEleven" brand and design agency, Mārtiņš Barānovs.

In total, 28 young entrepreneurs participated in the project, representing various sectors and offering their created products, from accessories and games to healthy sweets, to their clients.
